Administration
This department is responsible for organizing, planning, directing, and evaluating the Village Police Department. Also the office of the Chief of Police directs the formulation and implementation of Police Department philosophy and standards; formulate and approves short and long term goals and objectives; and plans and budgets for all Police Department functions including:
  • Developing, presenting, and securing approval of fiscal-year budgets and goals for operations and administrative areas; and
  • Monitoring progress to goals, objectives, and budgets and making necessary adjustments.
