Need help with the Library's databases or computer catalog?  Reserve a Librarian! Available by appointment only, schedule a 45 minute session of one-to-one instruction with a reference librarian. Assistance is available for library databases and catalog only, not for general computer help.

Museum Adventure Pass


Oak Brook Public Library card holders can check out free passes to many of the local area museums and attractions, including the Brookfield Zoo, the Legoland Discovery Center and many others. Click here for more information.

Book Discussion Groups
The Oak Brook Public Library supports Oak Brook residents with book discussion groups by offering interlibrary loan service. The Library will request multiple copies of books from other libraries for pick-up at the OBPL Circulation Desk. This service is available to those with an Oak Brook library card in good standing.

The Reference Department will support up to six book discussion groups.If additional groups would like to participate, the Reference Desk will maintain a waiting list.
