Donations & Volunteering
Gift and Memorial Books
Consider donating a Gift Book to celebrate an event, memorialize a loved one or honor an individual, while supporting the growth of the Library’s collections in a very personal way. Our community will benefit from your generosity.
Each gift book, CD, DVD or other item chosen for the Library’s collection will bear an inscribed book plate. The inscription may be specified by the donor.
The Gift Book program is used to enhance the Library’s collection through the purchase of specially chosen materials. You may choose the category of materials, the subject of the item and/or a specific title for your commemorative gifts.
Your donations are tax deductible to the extent permitted by law. All titles must meet the criteria set by Village government in the Library’s Collection Management Policy.

Volunteers help in a variety of ways, including preparing new materials for the collection, repairing damaged materials, shelving materials, assisting with children's programs and crafts, preserving the Library's history, and many other projects. Wonderful opportunities await you as a volunteer at the Library.
