December 2019 - DuPage County Animal Services

DuPage County Animal Services is a self-supporting (non taxpayer funded) open Logoadmission shelter that:

  • Prevents and controls rabies through bite investigation, tag issuance and rabies testing
  • Rescues and shelters stray and unwanted animals to reunite with owners, transfer to rescue groups, or adopt to a responsible home
  • Provides veterinary care to treat illness and injury
  • Performs spay/neuter to control animal overpopulation
  • Promotes responsible pet ownership and provides humane education services

What Can You Do To Get Involved?

Visit their website at to complete an application to become a volunteer. Also needed: help sharing available animals and donation requests on social media. You can also donate any of these requested items in the donation box located in the Library lobby:
