NEED FOR THE IMPROVEMENT: There is a quarter mile gap in the multi-use path along Harger Road and also no accessible crossing of Salt Creek for the residential and commercial area between Cermak Road and Roosevelt Road. PROPOSED IMPROVEMENT INCLUDES:
The Village has obtained a permit from the Tollway to place the path and watermain on their right-of-way. There is no private property acquisition. |
PHASE I ESTIMATED COST: $2,068,542 ($1,556,986 Federal CMAQ Funds / $511,556 Local Match) This project will be funded with federal Congestion Mitigation Air Quality (CMAQ) funding through the Chicago Metropolitan Agency for Planning (CMAP) with required matching funds provided by the Village. |
