[ARCHIVED] Special Village Board Meeting -- Resident & Visitor Participation

Village of Oak Brook Seal

Please be advised that due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Village of Oak Brook is exercising due care by following the recommended social distancing guidelines. The November 23, 2020, Special Meeting of the Village Board of Trustees will be conducted by video conference. The meeting will not take place in the usual location in the Dean Board Room at the Butler Government Center. During this extraordinary time, residents and individuals that wish to participate in the meeting process are asked to follow these protocols:

COMMENTING ON AN AGENDA ITEM: If you wish to make a comment or participate in the on-line Village Board meeting either at the beginning of the meeting or on a specific agenda item, please submit your comment or request to participate in the meeting via email by 8:00 a.m. on Monday, November 23rd prior to the meeting. Please submit your comment to the Village Clerk at villageclerk@oak-brook.org. Your comment will be placed into the record at the meeting.  Once your request is received a confirmation email message will be sent confirming that we received the request to comment or participate in the on-line meeting.   Additional questions can be directed to the Village Clerk at 630-368-5052.

WATCHING FROM HOME: Members of the public are strongly encouraged to observe the live stream of the Village Board and other Boards and Commission meetings on the Village’s website at https://www.youtube.com/user/OAKBROOKTV/live. The recorded videos will also be available at: https://www.youtube.com/user/OAKBROOKTV following the meeting.

ATTENDING IN PERSON: (Not Recommended) If a resident chooses to watch the meeting at the Butler Government Center (Village Hall) 1200 Oak Brook Rd, please submit your request to the Village Clerk at villageclerk@oak-brook.org via email by 8:00 a.m. on Monday, November 23rd prior to the meeting. We will have a projection screen available in the West Wing Conference Room for viewing purposes only. Even if you attend in-person public comments will only be accepted via email as stated above.
