[ARCHIVED] COVID Immunization Information

MIDC (Metro Infectious Disease Consultants) clinic is located in Burr Ridge at 901 McClintock Drive and is currently accepting phone calls from people interested in making an appointment for a COVID immunization.

Due to unprecedented demand for vaccinations, MIDC has limited their eligible categories to:

  • ANYONE 65 and older (from anywhere)
  • Police and Fire Personnel in Oak Brook
  • Childcare workers in Oak Brook
  • Teachers in Oak Brook

If you are within one of these 4 categories in Oak Brook, then please call 630-654-4201 to be placed on a list for an appointment to get the vaccine. Because of the expected high call volume, you may need to call back.

Customer service representatives will be taking interested parties’ names, telephone numbers and birthdates; or parties’ names, telephone numbers and confirming professions.

Only individuals over 65 from ANY community OR Oak Brook healthcare workers, Oak Brook teachers, Oak Brook police or Oak Brook fire personnel will be eligible for receiving the COVID immunization from Metro Infections Disease Consultants during this time

All individuals leaving their name, phone number, birthdate or profession will receive a return phone call. Return phone calls will be placed based on where you are on the list pertaining to when you made your initial call. The representative from Metro Infectious Disease Consultants returning your call will consult with you regarding your availability for scheduling the immunization. Immunizations will begin on Monday, January 25, 2021, and take place Monday through Friday, 10:00 a.m. through 4:00 p.m., with appointments every 5 minutes. Several nurses will be on staff administering the vaccine. Both Pfizer and Moderna will be administered. Metro Infectious Disease Consultants is only scheduling appointments for the amount of immunizations they receive. They do not know how many immunizations they will be receiving.
