Metro Infectious Disease Consultants (MIDC) is located in Burr Ridge at 901 McClintock Drive and is currently accepting phone calls from people interested in making an appointment for a COVID immunization.
Due to unprecedented demand for vaccinations, MIDC has limited their eligible categories to:
- ANYONE 65 and older from DuPage County
- Police and Fire Personnel in Oak Brook
- Childcare workers in Oak Brook
- Teachers in Oak Brook
If you are within one of these 4 categories in Oak Brook, then please email: vaccine@midcusa.com to be placed on a list for an appointment to get the vaccine.
Please Note: Because of the expected high call volume, you may need to call more than once to connect.
Customer service representatives will be taking interested parties’ names, telephone numbers and birthdates; or parties’ names, telephone numbers and confirming professions.
All individuals leaving their name, phone number, birthdate or profession will receive a return phone call. Return phone calls will be placed based on where you are on the list pertaining to when you made your initial call. The representative from Metro Infectious Disease Consultants returning your call will consult with you regarding your availability for scheduling the immunization. Immunizations will begin on Monday, January 25, 2021, and take place Monday through Friday, 10:00 a.m. through 4:00 p.m., with appointments every 5 minutes. Several nurses will be on staff administering the vaccine. Both Pfizer and Moderna will be administered. MIDC is only scheduling appointments for the amount of immunizations they receive. They do not know how many immunizations they will be receiving.
Other options include calling your physician’s office, retail pharmacies and neighborhood hospitals including the Good Samaritan Wellness Center starting February 1st.
