In response to recent activity at Oakbrook Center, the Oak Brook Police Department will be deploying additional resources to the mall and surrounding area, effective immediately. These extra duty patrols will supplement and enhance current patrol staffing.
The Oak Brook Police Department Investigations Division is actively working on the recent “grab and run” incident at Burberry, including but not limited to information obtained from video surveillance, which captured both the offending vehicle and the suspects involved.
The Oak Brook Police Department is working in partnership with Oakbrook Center management and their retail merchants, to address and reduce these incidents; including the use of technology to magnify these enforcement efforts.
