Join volunteers from Project SMILE (Saving More Illinois Live through Education) to learn adult and child hands-only CPR, choking relief, and using an AED (automated external defibrillator) at the Oak Brook Public Library on Saturday, June 11, 2022 from 1:00 PM -- 2:30 PM
Space is limited Age 14 and up
The guidelines for CPR during the COVID-19 pandemic will also be discussed. Participants will have the opportunity to practice their newly learned skills on manikins.
Project SMILE is a community CPR awareness project initiated by the Chicago Medical Society in 2011. Ages 14 and up.
Training includes Video Presentation, Adult & Child CPR, Choking Relief, Demonstration, Hands-Only CPR, Use of AED (Automated External Defibrillator), Practice on Manikins
