[ARCHIVED] Parade Honoring the Class of 2020 Saturday, May 23rd

Class 2020

Village Residents Ms. Aarti Tekchandani Karamchandani and Ms. Angelique Lopez have graciously taken the lead in organizing a Parade in honor of the Class of 2020, slated for this Saturday, May 23 at 10 AM. The Village of Oak Brook is pleased to support this special event with both our Police and Fire Departments participating in its full glory. This celebration will certainly bring some excitement and some smile on the faces of Oak Brook’s graduating 8th graders and high school seniors.

Cars will begin lining up at 9:30AM Kingston Dr. near Regent Dr. (Brook Forest Subdivision).  Please arrive with your senior graduate and/or 8th grader on time. Please remember to decorate your car!  In order to respect social distancing, we ask that all participants remain in their car at all times.

Parade Route: Begins at Regent Drive and Kingston Dr and will be heading south on Regent Dr. to Oak Brook Rd. (31st St.), then heading east on Oak Brook Rd. to York Rd.  Turning north on York Rd. to Dover Dr. then heading east to Windsor Dr.

We are asking our neighbors to join us by coming out to your front lawn and wave to the students in the parade.  If you live on any of the streets listed above, we hope you can join us to celebrate the kids.  We ask if you are on a public street around other neighbors that you please wear a mask and practice social distancing.

We hope to see you there!
