Comcast Service Outage Update
Comcast was able to restore their services to large parts of the affected area last night by 9:30 PM
Comcast had resources on the site of the incident and worked throughout the night to repair their damaged equipment.
At this we are awaiting further updates on any remaining customers within the Village of Oak Brook that have not had their Comcast services restored.
We will provide you with further updates when they are available.

Comcast services to large parts of the Village along with parts of Elmhurst, Hillside and Westchester have been cut off due to a construction accident that occurred at Harger Rd. and Salt Creek earlier this afternoon that severed a major fiber optic trunk cable.
Comcast crews are on the scene of the incident and are assessing the damage. At this time, we do not have an estimate on when the repairs will be completed. The initial assessment indicate the fiber cable is severely damaged which may lead to an extended outage.
